SeaWorld is truly an amazing place to visit whether you are young or old. We had a great time, and it was free for military and a dependent! I can't wait to take Payton there because it is a fantastic place. If you have never been to SeaWorld, you have to check it out. I am already planning my next visit.

SeaWorld

Our New Pad
We have finally settled into our new place! Well, our bedrooms are not quite complete, but they are unpacked. We really enjoy living in San Diego. There is so much to do and see here! I hope we get lots of visitors over the next two years because we want to share our fun experiences while we are stationed here.

Road Trippin'
Seth and I finally left VA and have arrived safely in CA!! Our road trip consisted of $300 in gas, $300 in hotels, a few arguments along the way, and a lot of take-out! But, living near the beach in Oceanside, CA is PRICELESS! Well, actually we have hit a few bumpy spots living here: the landlord failed to tell us about registering our cars, so we woke up the other morning to find out that our car was towed, we went without power for 3 nights in our new place, and now our dryer is not working! One word of advice, make sure that you do a lot of research prior to moving into a new place, especially if you found a place on craigslist.

My Marine
Seth graduated from his 6 months of training at The Basic School and now we are off to Camp Pendleton CA to continue more schooling. I am so proud of my husband for all of his hard work and accomplishments (look at those "expert" badges). The Marines work so hard to fight for our freedom and I am so grateful to be a part of such a great group.

VA Baby Shower
My wonderful friends in VA threw my friend Amanda and I a baby shower! Amanda is due Feb. 4th and I am due Feb.5th..crazy huh?! I got a lot of nice gifts and adorable clothes that I can't wait to dress Payton up in. I really appreciated all of the gifts and had a great time with my very thoughtful friends here.

Virginia Beach
Seth and I went to VA Beach and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and it was relaxing to sit and have breakfast while we listened to the waves. We also got to go on a submarine tour with the "squids" (the Navy). It was quite interesting to see how they live in such a small area with a lot of gadgets.

We are outta here!!
We are moving from VA to San Diego and couldn't be happier!! The east coast is not a place for us and I am pretty darn sure that we will be enjoying the nice sandy beaches in CA! I can't wait to get out of here and be much closer to my friends and family. I also can't wait to have Payton with us as we stroll around the water..yes! We should be moving from here in mid-November and are thinking that Thanksgiving will be with our families back home this year. Can't wait to see you all very soon!

Pumpkin Patch
The Belvedere Plantation pumpkin patch in VA is fantastic! The pumpkins were still on the vines and there were too many to choose from. Of course, baby Payton got her own mini pumpkin too. I wish she could have gone with us because we looked out of place without a kiddo but we still had fun going down the giant slide, going through the corn maze, and going on the hay ride.

It's a Girl!

We found out September 20th that we are having a little girl! What an exciting appt. that Seth and I got to go to. She was moving quit a bit and so we got some great poses from her.
Of course, I went shopping right after the appt. and bought some adorable little clothes for her. I can't wait to dress her up (Poor Seth)

16 week baby bump
Wow, I am almost 1/2 way done! I finally got asked the other day by a stranger how far along I was..I guess I officially look prego now. I also bought my first pair of maternity pants today, which was a little bizzare but they sure are cozy. (The clothes in this pic. are pjs so don't think that I have gone crazy or anything) :)

The Evening Parade
Seth's company was invited to attend the 8th and I Evening Parade for the Commodant of the USMC yesterday. All of us wives got dressed up and met our sexy husbands in their dress blues. It was a very impressive parade that we watched and the Commodant's house was beautiful! I also got to meet a very special guest...Sgt. Chesty, the USMC's mascot(a bulldog), which made the night even more exciting for me!! He was also properly dressed with his dress blues:)

The most amazing day!
Today I had my 10 week dr.'s appt. and it was truly amazing! I have never felt so blessed. I was able to see the baby move(I think it is going to be an acrobat!) It was very exciting to also hear the heart beat. This dr.'s visit was totally worth the nausea that I have been feeling:)
The first dr. visit
Four weeks ago was the first doctor visit and it was so exciting! I got an ultrasound and was able to take home some pics. of the little peanut. Wow, it was so fascinating to see the little heart beat! The dr. told me that my expected due date is February 5th, 2009. Check out the pics. of our baby.
